Tell us about your qualifications or academic qualifications?

Before you become a police officer, you have to complete a course in the police academy. Only if you pass the police academy, can you become a police officer. However, being a police officer does not only mean walking on the streets and frightening or fighting the bad elements away. There are several desk jobs and jobs that require special talent available with the police force.

If you have an academic background, or have any hobby that is beneficial to some postions in the desk jobs of a police force, you would be a more invaluable member to the police force rather than walking a strip. Therefore, make sure that the academic qualifications that you provide are factual; to the point and that you do not meander away when asked about your education.

Why did you choose the police officer career?

It’s a new world and there are fewer and fewer people in this world that would do something out of their thoughts about honor and conscience. Though you might really feel like doing something towards society by being a lawman, make sure that your answer does not hype your thoughts about conscience and loyalty.

The best answer would be that you wish to join the police force because you wish to ensure that the innocent are defended from the unscrupulous elements in the world at all times and that you like the fact that a policeman keeps the evil at bay in a constructive, positive manner.
