Police Interview Questions

Police interview tips- Don’t go over the five minutes.

Remember that the person interviewing you will stop you if you go over the five minutes.

As the person interviewing you asks you the question, they will also give you a copy of the question to refer to. When responding you must choose examples that you feel comfortable discussing with the person interviewing you. You do not need to know about customer-services or the law or procedures relating to police work.

Do not be afraid to ask for the question to be repeated, even in you are mid way through providing your answer. Sometimes it is better to obtain clarification, re-focus and get back to exactly what the question is asking you to demonstrate.

The last thing you want to do is go off on a tangent and talk for 5 minutes because you feel like you have to. If you can answer the question within 2 minutes then do this is not a problem.
